Picasso vase

The last day to use the art center was today. It's located at the fairgrounds and the fair starts this weekend. So I brought my vase home and finished it here. It's taller than my other ones, about 11inches. I'm still working on getting my glazes the way I like them.

What I've been up to

I am having so much fun revisiting creating ceramics. I have made pottery off and on since college and I love it. These pieces turned out to be some of my favorite pinch bowls. I take a ball of clay about 5 inches in diameter and work it, mold it into a shape of a bowl. Then it is fired in the bisque kiln, and glaze added. These are about ready to go into their final firing.

These are my buttons that I make for people to use them on journal covers, handmade handbags, or whatever other use they come up with.

You can find them in my shop.
